    What types of organizations are participating in this program?

    We work with various types of organizations involved in deploying keys in Apple Wallet, such as integrators, reader manufacturers, hotel chains, and more. If you are interested in learning more about who we work with, please reach out to wallet-access-info@apple.com.

    Do keys in Apple Wallet replace plastic cards, physical keys, and key fobs?

    Yes. One of the main benefits of keys in Apple Wallet is that they allow entities and users to replace their existing access cards, keys, or fobs with iPhone and/or Apple Watch, and use their devices anywhere those physical credentials can be used.

    What is the process to be a part of the program?

    To participate in the program, partners must complete a business and technical diligence process. After the intake form is submitted for completion, we provide additional documentation.

    What is needed to support a key in Apple Wallet?

    1. To add a corporate key to Wallet, you need an iPhone 6s or later running iOS 15 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 3 or later running on watchOS 8 or later.
    2. To add a hospitality key to Wallet, you need an iPhone 6s or later running iOS 15 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 3 or later running on watchOS 8 or later.
    3. Available only on select makes and models. Requires eligible device and OS version. See here for details.
    4. To add a home key to Wallet, you need an eligible iPhone (see here for details), or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later running on watchOS 8 or later.
    5. Available only in select schools. Requires eligible device and iOS version. See here for details.

    7. Can last up to 5 hours when your iPhone needs to be charged. Requires eligible device. See here for details.
